Whisky Tours

Whisky tours are our specialty! We recommend, agree and pre-book the very best mix of distillery tours and tastings available on our guests’ specific dates. We prioritise the best loved distilleries for the most authentic Scottish whisky experiences.

Below is an example of some of the tours we offer but remember these are just examples as we are a bespoke whisky tour provider and cater to our client’s individual tastes and needs.

We have never used the exact same itinerary twice. We arrange everything for our clients and specialise in organising the special events and extras that our clients can’t arrange for themselves. We arrange luxury tours rather than quantity based set tours.

Example 1

We leave Edinburgh behind and head north, stopping for a tour and tasting at Deanston Distillery – a former cotton mill and is next to the river Teith.

After sampling the famous 18-year-old single malt at Deanston, we’ll continue northwards, stopping for lunch at the historic city of Dunkeld. This beautiful cathedral city is nestled on the banks of Scotland’s longest river, the Tay. After lunch we will head to one of our favourite distillery’s, Dewars Aberfeldy. Which famously double ages there whisky for smoothness.

Later we make our way across stunning mountain landscapes to Royal Deeside and the beautiful highland village of Braemar where we’ll end the day.

Example 2

Exploring Speyside. You’ll be spoilt for choice. Balvenie Distillery, Strathisla, The Macallan, Glenglassaugh, and Glendronach are all close by (to name but a few).

We’ll work with you to select the very best mix of experiences available on your dates. If at any point you feel whiskied out you may enjoy a trip up to Elgin, to see the historic Cathedral ruins, as well as Gordon & MacPhail’s iconic whisky shop, a Speyside institution since 1895.

Example 3

We’ll make our way north, stopping to enjoy a paired chocolate and whisky tasting at Dalwhinnie Distillery and then visiting the beautiful small Scottish town of Pitlochry in Perthshire that sits on the River Tummel and its surrounding attractions.

This area is known as the gateway to the Highlands. If the weather permits, we can enjoy a woodland walk to the Falls of Bruar and then take in the breathtaking views that the Queen’s view has to offer.

After lunch, we’ll pop into Blair Atholl Distillery for a tasting and for the shoppers to enjoy some retail therapy at the House of Bruar, known as the Harrods of the Highlands.
